Scraps of Color Friday Night Chat

Last night I had a blast on Friday Night Chat over at Scraps of Color. My friend Treva was the host last. She had three challenges the first one was a fall ATC
The second challenge was to do a card and you can only use one pattern paper no embellishments
I like my card but I will add some embellishments before I mail them out for Thanksgiving.

The third challenge was to do make a layout of fall and it must include food.
I found a picture of my son and his dad and brother and thought I really should scrap that and that was my third challenge complete.

Thank you Treva for a great evening of challenges

Creating the crafty life

Today I went ahead and did the layout and card sketch challenge over at Creating the Crafty Life

This is one of my sweet grand daughters Miss Sunny. She came and spent a few hours with her Nana while her Mother went and ran errands. I had a blast with this little smart girl.
The papers are from my stash and I used some Micheal's flowers and ribbon from my stash.
Here is the sketch
 This is the card sketch

This is what I came up for the card
I purchased that cartridge from WalMart thinking it would good for some quick cuts. I used my imagine and didn't get the colors right but you know I don't throw out anything so someone in my family will get the card.

aka The Sketch and Stash Challenge!
Week 35 - September 24, 2012 over at iClassygirl
My take on the sketch

I just went in my son's football paper stash from last yr and used scraps to make this layout and I really like how it came out. This was my son's first football game of the yr and my grandson got to go and meet the team mascot and play in the football helmet. Kendrian had a blast

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge SSSC168

I am on a roll today with card challenges. Here is the last one for the day (maybe lol). Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 168.

This is what I came up with for this card.

I used this stamp that I received in my kit from Samantha The ScrapMaster yesterday and I just love this stamp set. The paper Samantha sent and she said it was from Carta Bella Premium Paper that she had cut up as an extra and hopefully she will have it in store so I can order it.

Got Sketch card

Today I used Got Sketch to complete this card. I love how it came out.

I am trying to go and use all my paper packs. This is another one that I got back in the summer at TJ MAXX for $2.99 so I am sure you will be seeing it again for more Thanksgiving cards to come.

Scraps of Color

CHALLENGE 2 due by Sunday,Sept 23 midnight eastern time.
Nothing is more flattering than to be copied/scraplifted.  Nothing says I really love what you do than I'd like to do that too!  So for this challenge...choose any item card or layout in the gallery that you love and scraplift it!  Let it inspire your creativity.  Please share what item you scraplifted when you share your creation.

I completed my challenge on time last night and submitted it on the board but didn't get a chance to put it on my blog. I found a card in the gallery posted by Barbara Ladybug Graves and I just loved the colors and I used my Imagine to copy the card as best as I could. Once again I used the Cricut Cartridge Baby Boutique.

Freshly Made #53

Today I did another sketch challenge but this is my first time doing Freshly Made I like there sketches they are simple and it is a good way of using up your scraps.  So I used my Close to My Heart scraps SuperHero and made this card for my hubby.
I was playing with my Cameo today trying to do print and cut well I forgot so many steps and didn't want to waste the image so I cut around it (mind you I hate to fussy cut anything so it isn't perfect but it is for hubby) The stamp is also CTMH Super Powers C1485

Soooooo I didn't stop there I made him a shirt with a vinyl cut out of the S in the Silhouette store and I used the font Minnie to cut out Mont

So all and all I am please with my projects even though it started out pretty rough today....

Happy Belated Birthday and Anniversary to my Bishop Tyler

My Pastor's birthday was Sunday and I didn't get the card finished in time but I had his towel finish that I did on my Pfaff machine.
This was clip art that I found online and used to put into my software and sew out.
\The card I made Pastor was from Inspired Heart Cricut Cartridge

The stamp was from Jaded Blossom
I didn't do anything to the inside but sign it .

This coming Friday is my Bishop and his wife's Sister Tyler Anniversary and if my memory serves me correct he said they will be married 38yrs. What a blessing that is

My card is simple black and white. I used the image from the silhouette store with my Cameo and and I ran the white piece in the vagabond with one of Tim Holtz folders. The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. The sentiment is from Close to My Heart.
and the inside I had already signed it before the picture so I used a sticky to cover up my terrible writing and message.
