More Christmas Cards

Image
Well after work today I manage to get a few cards done.

I saw this card in one of my magazines and I used some paper from last yr that I got at Tuesday Morning. I ran the bazzill paper threw the embossing folder and sanded the design. I died the seam binding with Lindy Stamp Gang....I can't remember which color I used for that. I stamped the front of the card with a stampin up stamp from the tiny stamp set. The inside I used one of the $1 stamp from Micheal's.

Once again I used that paper from Tuesday Morning and Micheal's $1 stamps. Well the day is gone and it is time to go to bed.

I had joined DeMary's non traditional Christmas Cards. We had to make two different cards for a total of four cards to be mailed to De.   My first card I used paper that I bought last year at Hobby Lobby from the Paper Studio. I also used the quick cutz shape in pink bazzell paper for the oval shape. The tree was cut with my silhouette machine.

My second card I went to the good ole internet and found this card from Nicole I had the stamp's from Stampinup that she used I just changed my colors from pink to purple as on her card. I didn't put a tag on mine like hers and I also added stickles to the middle tree.

Thanks Shanta for the the inside of this card I was truly stuck and she suggested I mask the circle to complete this.

Thanksgiving Charms

Image
I participate in a monthly swap over at Stampin Dymonz ning and this month them of course was Cornucopia. I had went on ebay and ordered corn and grape charms and used the cartridge everyday paper dolls (I believe, since I did the cuts last week) to present my charms on.

Thanksgiving cards

First let me say that their will be no more Elizabeth Mae cards/tags. The owner has decided to close the doors to Elizabeth Mae and I am said to see it go.

So I completed my Thanksgiving cards last night and they are in the mail now. I will try and do a Thanksgiving mini since I am going to go to my Aunts on Thanksgiving day and Saturday I will be at my mother in law so maybe two simple mini's to represent the two sides of my family and hopefully I can share with the pictures.
Well here is my simple cards that I completed the image with my silhouette machine. I really worked that machine over cutting the images and now I need to order a new mat. I need to work with this machine more it has a little learning curve so my cuts are perfect but it is my family that I am sending these out to so they will not be like you scrappers and criticize it to death that the images are perfect. Well be blessed and have a safe and happy Thanksgiving break.

Okay I said it was simple here is my second layout and oh boy....I so love this paper. Before I got married my bedroom and bathroom was this print. I even got paw print tattoos that I did in my younger day of course I wouldn't do that now. This layout you just drop your picture in and type in your journal. How easy is that for us that do not have time to sit down and do a layout.

Again I will be giving this affordable and easy software for you to use with your scrapbooking. The software you can check out here on this link  but if you purchase it through this link and use the code you will receive $10 off the My Memories Suite v2.0 and get a $10 off coupon to use in the MyMemories.com store.

At the race

Image
I have some great news, I was contacted by the owner of My Memories, Liz  to do a review over the software program. I just started playing with it tonight and this is my first layout. We were at a pizza place and hubby and my son were in a race for the chase. So far this program is great and very friendly to use. I will post more on this software and a giveaway to one of my lucky followers to enjoy this software as well.

Baby Shower

Image
My stepson has his baby shower this past Saturday and hubby and I was out of town so we missed out so no pictures to scrap but I came home and made this card for them. I used the onesie cut from one of the cricut cartridges and welded it together then I cut a piece from DCWV -Nana's stack for the cover and I had the pink ribbon in my piece stash. So my son in law is picking me up today to take me to pick up my car since hubby has left again to work in Israel and I will be giving him the card today.
As you can see it is a girl or so we think and she will be here some time next month.

This week challenge is to use an image and the words Thanksgiving. I used the dress form image called spotted dress. I used my markers Tul (thanks Shanta). These markers were mentioned on one of the yahoo boards of how great their were and they were sold at Office Max and my girl Shanta got me a pack and shipped it to me. The paper I used was last yr. DCWV Autumn stack. I had got the ribbon awhile back at JoAnns. I also used my nest abilities to frame the dress form and Tim Holtz distress stain in dried marigold.   So come on over and join in the challenge with us.

Ribbon flowers

Image
So tonight I decided to die some ribbon lace and make flowers out of it. I used my glimmer mist that is just sitting on the shelf to create these beauties.

Simple Christmas card

Image
I made it to my room tonight and I did this simple card using my spellbinder dies to cut the frame out and the tree was a stamp that I received in a swap last year from scraps of color. I used studio G bling for the blubs on the tree. I used again DCWV Christmas stack from last yr to put on the card. I used Martha Stewart leave punch on the bottom and some cheap ribbon to put on around the card.

Elizabeth Mae

Image
Good Morning this week's challenge over at Elizabeth Mae is to use leaves for your project. I choose Sascha as my image and the paper was from DCWV last yr stack of Autumn. I also used one of Tim Holtz die to place Sascha on. I also used my bow easy to make the bow.

Scraps of Color

Image
This was a challenge I did for Scraps of Color but I didn't follow the rules so I will have to make another layout but it is okay because I really want to get back into doing layouts. The challenge was to do a layout of what you were thankful for. So I went through my cartridges and found inspired heart and the word -The Holy Spirit- I thought to myself ` I am very thankful for the holy spirit and what a great title for a page.
Once again I went to my stash which I have noticed is a lot of paper studio paper so that is the paper I used and I used Bazzill cardstock. I am so proud of this flower that I made thanks to my scrappy friend Shantah for sending me the tutorial on making them. I used tattered angels - tattered leather rose and a pearl center that I bought at a garage sale and to finish it off I used some prima bling.
