Birthday Challenges

My first card is from Mojo Monday my husbands nephew is having a birthday in a few days and my husband was a farmer and his family still farms and Chase loves Allis Chalmers and I used my Beep Beep Cartridge to complete this card and I used Simple Stories Awesome. I added modge podge on the wheels

Close to my heart stamp

The next card I completed was from Freshly Made blog.  The paper was a gift from a friend last yr and I am really trying to use up things that was giving to me and my stash. My husband has another nephew who has a birthday next week and this has such masculine colors. I also used my E2 to cut out the cupcake from the create a critter 2 cart. The stamps that as used from Clear Dollar Stamps.

Okay last card challenge is from Clean & Simple. I really like this simple card I just went with a white base and added some red to it. I cut the ballons out on my Cameo and used my cricut mat which I am very happy that it does work. I had read it on a few blogs but had to try it out for myself :D.
I ran the top white threw the vagabond with the stampin up folder  vintage wallpaper and popped it all up and used clear dollar stamps

I look forward to tomorrow to start another day of crafting and starting off with my 52 week gratitude  mini.

The end of 2012 and the beginning of 2013

I am so thankful for the Lord letting me see another yr - the good and the bad of it. I don't really make goals for myself since they tend to not reach the finish line but this coming yr I do want to try real hard to accomplish some things that I have been doing these last few months of the this yr.

1. I want to make and send a birthday card out to my family and friends on time in my list. I plan on going on my calendar the first of the month and completing all cards for the month. I have 13 for January and I am ahead of the game already by having the first one completed and today I plan on completing 5. I do plan on using card sketches challenges to complete them and that will be 2/1 for me.

2. I plan on putting my pictures in my smash and project life albums. I completed four pages the other night so again off to a great start. Again for me the simply the better so I am using it as a way to get my pictures down and use of some of my stash and a little journal so when I look back I can so oh yeah I remember that :)

3. I plan on spending less and being more grateful for what I have and use my stash. This step will be accomplished with the challenge that I will be doing on a weekly basis with Inspired Stamps

I have ordered the stamps and received them already for Jan. Today I will make my mini that I will use and I am going to keep it simple so I can keep up with it and not get to caught up in the details and lose interest. Thanks Danita for that paper stack it is going to work just great for this project with the colors I love. I am really looking forward to this 52 weeks of Gratitude. I do my devotion on my treadmill in the mornings and I have been thinking of a mini that I wanted to do so I could write down the wonderful words that I receive that morning and this challenge was just the extra push that I needed and now it will be complete today so I can start in the morning so I can look back and enjoy the goodness GOD has given me for that day.

I know long post but I have so much to be thankful for in 2012 and I am looking for all the goodness and whatever else is thrown my way in 2013 because I am counting it all as a blessing

Thank You Gift Cards

Today hubby had asked me to make his kids a gift card for the wonderful gift that they had given us. They had gave us tickets to a Nascar race in Kansas City in April of next yr. I am not sure if they remember but that will be our Anniversary on the 7th so we will make it a grand weekend  with the race. That was so nice and thoughtful of them since we didn't get to catch a race this yr every time I thought of getting us some tickets hubby was working out of the state so it didn't work out so now he has no choice but to go since it will not waste there money.

So we are at our Kansas house where I have minimum supplies I did the best I could come up with so we can give them the gift cards tomorrow. I didn't have a cartridge with me but I have one of my expressions up here but I usually bring my carts or gypsy with me so I had to search the internet for a tutorial and I found one at Rubber Romance Stamps it was very simple I just wished I didn't have two crappy cutters up here so the cutting wasn't straight.
The stamp is one of SP Company

This stamp is from K Andrews, I don't like this ribbon but this card is for JR and I didn't have any other blue :(

Last minute gift

Hello crafters, my cousin had told me that my Aunt that is coming to visit us bought us a gift so I had to hurry and make something for her and my Uncle.
My Aunt's favorite color is green so you know me embroidery a towel

then I went to Dollar Tree and got these big heavy beer glasses and etched them. Because I am right handed  I had a difficult time with the negative pieces but I think it still came out good and it is the thought that counts right?

I used my E2 and the craft-room along with the Art Deco cartridge for the names and Artiste for the crown's

Stocking stuffers

Hello my crafty friend. I have a quick posting today. I had stopped at Micheal's on this past Sunday and used my 20 percent coupon to enjoy the dollar bin for some last minute stocking stuffers.

you can't go wrong in the dollar bin just add some bling and glossy accent and who wouldn't enjoy this.

My surgery went well. I am suppose to have this cast on until Jan 2nd but I do believe I will be taking it off real soon. I was outside cleaning up my yard and the bandage is so dirty that I can't walk around like this but my yard needed clean so what is a lady to do :(

I have a couple of more projects to finish before my family arrives tonight so let me get cracking

Baby onesies

My cousin had asked me to make her some onesies for her friend Tina who is a new Aunt. Tina's parents are from India but Tina was born here but her sister was born in India. So the phrases my cousin came up with are so cute. I used vinyl and my cameo to make two of them and one is printable transfer.

Kappa Alpha Psi Towel

I made this towel for a good crafter friend of mine Treva, she is very involved in her husband fraternity the Kappa Alpha Psi. I remember at one time Treva had asked a couple of her crafter friends if we knew of a shield ~ she was making a layout (go check out her blog she does some amazing layouts and crafts) I remember looking but couldn't find any. Well when I looked again for this towel I found a jpg but not a very good one and I haven't learned this software like I should yet. So this is what I came up with and I hope she enjoys it.

When I was stitching the image out the Y went into motor overload........I am still using a loaner machine and I just am not having great luck..hopefully she will enjoy it.

Last one

I completed these a couple of days ago so I am setting blogger to upload at a later time. This cut was made on the Cameo image from the silhouette store. I used the corrugated card again and the Hobby Lobby trim dyed red to bring out some color in the card.

I also painted the Trico Flowers and added some dollar bling along with the flat back pearls.

Nicely Done Designs

Today I did a challenge over at Nicely Done Designs. The challenge is that you have to create something using Buttons, twine, handmade flower and corrugated board

I used the Micheal's corrugated cards for my base and I used a die cut from the silhouette store for the Merry Christmas ball. I used ribbon and died it red for the flower. I used the twine on top of the bulb and the buttons are from Hobby Lobby.

My Time Made Easy

Today I have completed the rest of my Christmas cards thanks to this blog I found My Time Made Easy They had several designs on one post and I was able to do three of each design and finish them up now they are in the envelopes and ready to go to the post office. I can't tell you what paper I used only that I laid out must of my 6x6 on the table and made some cuts off the Creative Memories Cricut cartridge Tis the Season and I just got busy. Of course you know me they were simple so the simple the better.

The first one

Thank God I have completed all my cards now I can sit back and relax as I get ready for my surgery.
