Simple Father's Day Card

Well I thought it was time to get started on my Father's Day Cards. I am using the cards that I had made from the OWH sketches. I just love that I can stamp or print my sentiment and add an embellishment and the card is complete.

Simple right but it is complete and ready to be mailed off.

Graduation cards and gifts

This will be for the challenge over at Scraps of Color Sistah/Brotha Blogger Week 22 ~ Hats off to the Grad~ I have found myself fallen behind but hopefully I can keep the mojo going and stick with the challenges.

I made the cards with my Cameo and papers that I had in my stash. I also used the Cameo to write with the sketch pens to add Congratulations on the frames.

This first card is for my scrappy friend Shanta her son Q

This card is for my cousin Adrein who is off to my Alma Marta University of Central State.

I also made personalized towels for the both of them

I purchase my towels from Target I think the quality is great and a good price. I don't wash my towels when I give them away I let the receiver know that once they wash it the plastic will go away (you can see the plastic in the name)

The tread on Adrein is a multi color one and I just love it. I sewed on the zebra ribbon and you know me I don't have patience for a straight seem but she is family

Happy Bee-Day

Today is my sister Tracey and my brother in law Kevin's Birthday. I know I am late posting but that is my life right now Late Late and Late.

This card is one of the card's that I made using the OWH sketches on that 6x6 pack  I worked on. I just used my silhouette to cute the bee and to sketch out the sentiment for the frame that was also cut on the Cameo....I really like the fact that all I have to do is cut out an image and the card is complete so next month I plan on doing better on my cards.

As always be bless until the next time

OWHtv Espisode 101

Here are a few more cards that I started on the other night while once again using the sketches from OWH. I don't have the 6x6 pad that I started taking apart. I kept the sentiment blank so when it is time that I need a card it is in my box just waiting on a die cut or sentiment. Maybe this way I will be able to get cards off on time.

I tried to do two of each card only a few sheets left of this 6x6 pad since it was one that I had used before.

In honor of Memorial Day....I have a picture of my sister Tracey when she was in the guards many yrs ago

That funny look on her face but the stories she use to tell me of her counter parts so I am sure it was funny

Beautiful Beauty

Good evening, my girlfriend Danita had told me about this stamp she seen at her Circle Mania. Well I really didn't need an excuse to sign up with Stampin up....I am my best customer since I think I need everything. Well I got my order in and I watched Dawn's video over the bleach emboss technique. Well I didn't have a bleach gel pen so I tried the liquid bleach. I didn't get the effect she did but I really like it and next time I go to Wally I will pick up a bleach pen so look out for another card.

I used Burgundy card-stock from Stampin up I used the little bling from Close to My Heart and the stamp is from K Andrews when she had her big sale last yr.

The inside stamp is from Stampin up Favorite Thoughts also stamped in Burgundy

Well time for me to cut this yard...have a bless evening

Mom

Hello and Happy Mother's Day to all. I completed my last card last night for my Mother-in-law and I used CCR free design this week. I like how this card is simple and easy.

I added some vellum under the cut and then white card stock on the base to stamp my image.

I wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day and be bless

Mother's Day Card

Well down to the wire and it is time to finish up with Mother's Day Cards. Thank goodness for this free file in the CCR. I really like how the card came out. Just wish I would have found this one earlier because all of my cards would have been like this one. I used vellum behind the card. I also stamped on the vellum (note to self wait next time before it is dry to add to the card, stop being in such a big rush lol)

I used a Spellbinders nestabilities Labels  and want to scrap bling to frame it. The stamp is a hero arts stamp as well.

Teacher's Appreciation Day

Today is the last day for Teacher's Appreciation. For us it was snack day and my grandson teacher Mrs. Walter's favorite snacks is M&M w/ peanuts, pretzels, Zero Coke, kisses. So I made a box to put some kisses in and remember her favorite color is green so I used some green colored K & Company paper from Wild Saffron and a Recollection flower and want to scrap bling.

I hope she likes it. I used my Cameo for the purse box file.

Teacher's Appreciation Day 3

My grandson asked for 7 cards for other teachers today. I went on pinterest to get an idea for hopefully a quick card. I found a picture from Emmy  so I used CCR with my Expression and the Community cartridge to come up with this pencil card that Kendrian loved.

Kendrian helped out with the stamping. The Read & Learn I used my Cameo sketch pens to get that since I don't have teacher stamps. Kendrian also signed each card.

Well time to get to work and try not to wait until the last minute tonight to come up with day 4.

I used prima Madeline paper and Michael's flowers and bling. I used spellbinders spiral blossom one for the big flower.

I used the sketch off of Freshly Made Sketches to complete this cute little card.

Teacher's Appreciation Week

Well I manage to get a card complete for my grandson's Teacher Mrs. Walters. My hat is off to all Teacher's for what they do. I can't do it and I just applaud each and every Teacher out there.

I used Create a Critter 2 for the apple and worm. I used My Mind's Eye School Daze for the pattern paper and I thought it was the right fit for this card. I went in my stash again and found a dollar stamp for No 1 Teacher which I need to add that to my wish list a teacher stamp for next time. I found a poem on the internet and here is my card I hope she likes it.

National Scrap Day project 2

Over at SOC challenge day 2 was a layout. I pulled out another Zoo picture of my grandson's class. I love the fact today that I have pulled out of my stash and used some things. I used my distress it all tool to get the look on the picture. I went and pulled out DCWV Safari Kids stack for the big mat back ground and the recollections die cut Zoo emblishments. I even pulled out those thickers that I had to have that is taken up space in my room

and here is Tiare sketch for this challenge

Well I got to try and get a nap before the Women's Conference tonight so I guess my Mother's Day cards aren't going to get done today :(
