Sleepy Boy

Good evening, real quick post here before the New Year comes in. I need to upload this posting before midnight to enter in the challenge over at Sketch ~ N~ Scrap (talk about down to the wire) 

My daughter posted this pic of Kai on FB and I knew I had to scrap it. Poor baby played his heart out that day. 

I used a pad I bought at Tuesday Morning from DCWV Teenage Dream Stack on clearance and made the title with my cameo.

  

 I miss my sweet grandson but thank God for facetime. I chatted with the kids the other night and Kai still wants to know where Nana is at.

Charm Time

Great morning,it has been so long since I have made some charms and I thought it would be nice to make some for friends for Christmas but of course they were late and I still have a few more to go lol but it will get it done. 

My one friend said her fav stone is Sapphire so I went and pulled and purchased a few more stones to make this charm. I had the Live artfully charm in my stash

 

 Don't pay any attention to the green paper clip I tried to use it to hold up the charm but it didn't work and I needed to get to work so I took the pictures real quick so it could go postal

this one is for young lady and the color is suppose to be grey but it is looking more purple in this photo.

 

I just love chunky charms oh well back to finishing the few I need to get in the mail....

Shake it Angel

 

Good morning, I am here with another late Christmas card. Treva and I joined a challenge online with a facebook group which I can't think of now but I didn't even link mine up. I used the silhouette store  154927 to get this cute card and make for my friend.

 I wounder why the cards always look better in person than online. 

I so miss being on google chat with Treva and Shanta and I use to  skype but that has been so long I can't remember the last time.....praying my life can slow down or a better job so I can get back online with my friends and create.

Good morning, here is another late card that I got off in the mail. I found my liquid applique and used it for the whip cream and I love it. So happy when I can find stuff in my room and use that I haven't seen or used in a year or so.....I know sad right

Christmas Eve

   

Good Christmas Eve, hubby and I went grocery shopping this morning and the rest of the day we are spending it catching up on some tv shows. 

I got this card out in the mail yesterday so now it will be late to a young lady. I used the paper pad that I got at Michael's on sale along with all the embellishments. The stamp is from Stamps of Life

Oh Christmas Tree

Good evening, I needed a few masculine cards. I remember when I was young my uncle had one of these ole pickup trucks and I wanted this stamp an die from Michael's especially for him. I got that paper at Hobby Lobby and thought of the stamp but since time was running out I didn't get to try and scan it in the brother machine to try and get it to reverse (note to self please start early next year on Christmas cards ) since the paper was so busy I didn't add a sentiment on the front of the card.

Happy Holidays

Good evening, Here was a quick card I made for a friend. I used Design Space along with a gold pen to drawn on the cone and used some washi tape for Happy Holidays.....it looks a lot better in person with all the gold the light just didn't capture it right.

This was also from Design Space and I believe it was Anna Griffin cart

I used a gold pen to go around the white mat but I don't have a steady hand but I still like the outcome of the card

Little box

Good evening quick post here. I made a box for my aunt to put in this cute file set from Sally's that my wonderful friend Danita told us about. So I went to my go to machine and cricut design space and typed in pillow box. I liked this one and cut it out of some paper from my stash. Added a bow from Target last year purchase and then some twine.

Aren't these ladies just to cute

Layout time

Thanks to the wonderful blog and FB group Sketch~N~Scrap challenge I completed 3 layouts. I was telling my girlfriend Treva I can't wait for Christmas cards to be over so I can't get back to my first love of layouts. This will be my third week of work and I haven't had a chance to do google chat or Skype with my friends. Life must go on and so it looks and feels like I will just have to squeeze in crafting where I can. I even managed to crack the seal on two 12x12 pads DCWV Playtime and Recollections At the Park

Challenge #4 is to create a layout using a few of your favorite things (I love that song!!!). Your layout must use your favorite SNS sketch (your choice), your favorite punch, favorite technique AND favorite manufacturer's paper! Make sure and share your favorites with us! For my layout I used: SNS #82, my favorite Martha Stewart butterfly punch,

Monday with my mojo going

Good afternoon, I just love when my mojo shows up. Well sad thing now is that I have to leave for work. I am so glad I have 3 more cards going postal this morning. I was on FB while getting in some miles on the treadmill and I saw this tee shirt image and I knew I wanted it. So instead of ordering like I usually do I made me one. Just wish I had some black glitter vinyl but it is on my list.

2nd Round of Christmas Cards

Good late evening, here is my 2nd round. I received my Cameo 3 a couple of weeks back and I made some cuts right out of the box opening. My machine had sat on the porch for 2 days in the cold in Kansas and I wanted to make sure it would work. So tonight I used the cuts to make some simple cards to get out in the mail. I have 17 cards ready to go postal tomorrow.

 

 Simple right but they are complete and sealed and ready to go. I have about 15 more to go hopefully by next weekend I will be completely down....


 I am really loving my purple wreath...another easy project

First Christmas Cards

It seems so long since I have been able to craft sad thing is I cut my images out the first of the week and I am just now getting to glue them down on paper tonight. I cut some wreaths out in design spaced and just used two folders brick and wood grain for the background. I used a stamp from Cas-ual Friday Stamps I also used some wink of stella on the bow along with washi tape.

this wreath is my least favorite I didn't keep the aspect ratio on in the design space so it looks a little strange but it will be shipped out anyway
