Simple card

I couldn't sleep this morning because today is my cousins June Bug home coming and my mind is just racing so I got up to make this simple card following Case this Sketch.

Remember we must treasure each moment with our love ones since tomorrow is not promised to anyone.

iClassygirl pajama party

Last night I was prepared to log online and participate with the ladies over at iClassygirl  but I had my time wrong and I logged in after the party but I did complete the sketch challenge to make a page and a card. I really felt my mojo was back last night and of course today it has left again so all I have is the creations from last night to show you.

My sister and I stayed a day in Miami after the cruise since we don't have a beach near us we really enjoyed our hotel with beachfront. It is nice to spoil yourself every now and then. This paper is from the packs I bought on the cruise

Losing a love one

Hello bloggers, on my way home from Dallas this past Sunday I got a text saying my cousin June Bug (Kevon Jr.) had past away. I took my daughter home and went to June Bug's place to see the rest of the family. There I learned that my Uncle (June Bug's dad) had found him dead. My heart just goes out to my Uncle Kevon, I couldn't even imagine losing one of my kids let alone finding them dead. June Bug had a bad heart but the good thing is he died in his sleep and when he was found he had his arms crossed laying on his back. I like to think that he was talking to the Lord and he is finally at peace no more pain and suffering at all. I made a card for my Uncle.

I used a stack in my stash from My Mind's Eye and I can't think of the name of it right now and I also used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches 108. I used the stamps from CTMH Card Chatter/ Sympathy D1476

 

Please say a prayer for my Uncle Kevon to be strong during this hard time.

 

Luggage Tag

Hello crafter's this is Felisa. Today is my first posting for The Bugbytes. I am so gracious for Pam allowing me to be on the design team. I am sorry but my first project is going to be a very simple one for my mojo has packed and left. When this post hits I will be on a cruise to the Bahama's and my mojo left ahead of schedule. I made a tag for my suitcase which was a challenge over at iClassygirl.com
I will be attending the crops and the make and take but mainly enjoying the cruise. Enough of that my tag was made using the Cameo shapes in the library and I used my sketch pen as well to print my information on the back. Sorry for the poor lighting on the pictures but I took them the night I had to leave.

  I added stickles to Diva but in the end product I should have left the stickles out

I ran it through my laminator and the stickles weren't as nice. I got the pouches at Hobby Lobby on clearance for $2.51 for 20 pockets and that was a score.

  

I then took the screen shot of Diva and thought I could embroidery it on this cheap bag I got at the flea market for $20. I am happy that I tried it and now I know that I can embroidery on luggage but next time I will have to bring my machine down to the kitchen table where I can have plenty of room. My bag wouldn't lay straight but since the bag is for me I don't mind Diva not being

straight or centered  (like me lol)

 I do like how the luggage tag looks on my cheap bag.

I then made my sister a little 6x6 mini album that she can just stick her pictures on from the cruise. She isn't a scrappy so this is very simple on pictures and a few stamps and stickers. I will try and show it after we get back since I am taking my instant Polaroid camera's with me.

I used magnets on the flaps and it is a insert in every pocket. The paper pack was Simple Stories Urban Traveler

I will have something better on next month's posting. I am sure my mojo will be back home after her well deserved vacation.

A little something something

Well tonight I needed a quick card. I promised my husbands niece that I would give her some duplicate crafty items so I boxed up a good size of goodies but I need to do another box in a few weeks. I went to operation home and pulled one of her sketches I just love that it takes all the guessing out with the sizes on the card (I am a simple lazy crafty lol)

And the sketch 

Simple right. I used fancy pants paper time spring, a studio G stamp on the front and S&P stamp for the inside.

Swap PL cards over at FB

I am so happy my friend Treva asked about my swaps this morning, I forgot to post them. I don't know what got into me for doing so many swaps at once and I didn't follow directions on the last ones. They were to be at the hostess by the 30th and I thought post marked so I am praying i do not get back 5 swaps

 Fall stitch. Most of the cards were to make anywhere from 10-16 so I was a busy camper but I had plenty of time but mojo left and it was down to the wire never again. Needless to say I didn't sign up for any this month. Well back to work I go.
