Saturday Cameo Challenge

I just love a challenge where I can use one of those expensive machines that seems to collect so much dust. On you tube Annika (Kisses2235) and Mel (hearts1217) have a Saturday Cameo Challenge and this past Sat it was a gable box. My grandson had a basketball game and I wasn't able to make it so I made him a little goodie box with his number 4 on it.

Today I used one of those $1 boxes from Michael's that just had to have and still have a draw full of them. This is the first one I have even tried to make something with. I first started out by painting it with Dazzling Metallic Elegant Finish Festive Red. The embellishments are from a swap I participated in a couple of yrs ago. I added flat back pearls on the sides of the box. 

 

I added some pages n the inside so my daughter can add pictures of my grandson since he will not be with them to pop firecrackers

Today I embroidery a towel....it is a shame that I have to kick all the dust off of my machine. I really need to get back into this machine. I got these free images from Embroidery Designs. My machine stopped on me in the design and I couldn't for the life of me get it lined back up but this towel will be for me so it isn't perfect and that is okay..

For my project today I started out with a card that I scrap lifted from A Splash from here and there  

(thanks for posting this) I used the easel card from the silhouette studio and the shield and print and cut of Superman. As many of you know my husband is a big fan....I hadn't seen him in a couple of weeks due to him working out of state but I will be going to see him this weekend and I thought this card would be something he would really enjoy.

Last Father's Day Card for the this yr

Hello, what a busy day I have had. My grandson had his first basketball game this morning and they got a good spanking but it was fun to watch since he is only 6 yrs old. I swear it was a mother on the other team that I could have tossed her out of the gym. The way she carried on you would have thought they were a professional basketball game going on. Oh well at least my grandson got 6 points but he and the team will have to be better next week.

Okay last card for Father's Day is for my hubby. I went out to Home Depo and got him another set of wrenches and ratchets (which he doesn't need but I don't need any new crafting tools lol)  so I went into the silhouette store and got these wrenches to cut for his simple card. (Simple wife simple husband that is us lol) I went into my scrap pile for the paper and used some of those nice gems I had to have at Hobby Lobby thanks Treva. I used a stamp set by K Andrew retired set.

  

Then on kisses2235 YT channel she has a Saturday challenge to use your Cameo and this week was a 3D project 

My husband is an inspector of airplanes so these was very fitting for him

I ran it through an embossing folder to get that wood look like the Wright Brothers, I think hubby will be happy with his gift and cards.

I wonder how long before he ask to make him a shirt with his jersey 4 on it lol

Father got skills

Good evening, long day at work but I managed to complete this card using my Cameo tonight...image from the silhouette store

 

I ran this cut through my Xyron sticker machine and I can't find my eraser to clean it up but I will before I mail it off. The stamp is K Andrew

All and all I am please with it but I will only make one of these not as quick as I like them...

Father's Day Cards

Hello everyone, I (We) really need to get busy and get those KING cards complete. I used this simple cut from the Silhouette store to complete this quick card. I have done several of them but only put together this one so I will post the rest tomorrow.

I really like how it came out. I even pulled out some embossing folders and I had to squeeze some bling on it lol

 

I broke down and ordered that We R Memories Keeper envelope maker and I love it.

Last night I completed two simple cards. Remember I am still working on those cards from OWH  that I made up a couple of weeks ago this is so simple to put down my cut or embellishment I am hoping to be finish with Father's Day cards this week and mail them off.

I am using some stamps I bought awhile back from K Andrew when she retired her stamps and I just happen to find this last night while I was trying to organize my stamps again.

Oh and I will add this picture of myself I have been going strong with Advocare and my exercise that I am so proud of myself.......I am back in my size 8 jeans yes

Happy Birthday Cameron

Today is my nephew's birthday....Cameron turns 17....I don't know where the time has gone. I remember changing his diapers now he has grown into such a wonderful young man.

I created this card for him using My mind's eye 6x6 Breeze and a sketch from Gloria on YT challenge
I even pulled out the sewing machine to stitch on this card.

 

Gloria inspired me to use my cricut more so with this challenge I had to pull out the Suburbia cartridge and my nephew is so athletic and preppy this image just fits him 

 

 

and my sister got him his first car.....
