Your Paper Pantry Travelogue

Over at YPP I am in a travelogue mini and this is my pages for Penny's mini which the theme was Cowboys and hero's. She asked if we could do a vintage pages and to write which I hate my handwriting and I pray she can read it lol ~ but to write a story about a cowboy, actor or make a story. Well mine was sorta made up but we were at my husband's daughter wedding a couple of years ago and we took these pictures so I just printed them out and made them in my layout. I used my cameo to cut out the cowboy and print the paper from the cameo as well.

I am so happy once again I got to use things in my room. The paper was from Hobby Lobby in my stash. The stamps (love - Memories) were from a garage sale a few years back and this was my first time using them score for the $.10 I paid for them. I will be using them again and again since I have a bag of phrases. Of course I had to add some bling on it.....be bless

The flower I made 2 yrs ago in a swap with the stick pin (I know shame right). the rub on corner from my stash was from fancy pants design. The blue chipboard label was from big lots from Making Memories again from my stash and ribbon was from Hobby Lobby my stash again and the {Lip} again from my stash from Tuesday Morning a couple of years ago. I pulled out my utte pot that again was just in my room and never opened. I guess I didn't get the utte hot enough but since this is only for me it doesn't matter but I kinda like the pearl look it gave the {Li

I have really enjoyed doing these challenges because it has helped me to pull out some of these things that I have bought that I thought I just had to had and finally use.

Happy Birthday Tiffany

I saw a video the other night and I thought this lady did a wonderful tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/user/Luvleescrappin?feature=watch#p/u/1/iAnqKr6clYw) on this mini and I dug in my stash and found this paper pack by Teresa Collins ~Posh to make this mini. I bought the pack at Hobby Lobby, the picture frame is from the Micheal's dollar bin. The flowers I bought last month in Texas at the .99 Store since Oklahoma doesn't have any. I used prima for the pearls and the ribbon also came from Hobby Lobby.

I know the butterflies are upside down but I really wanted the image in the right hand.

Happy 40th Birthday Tiffany. I know you will have plenty of places to add those pictures in this little mini.....love you girl

Mardi Gras Charms

This month for our charm swap was Mardi Gras and boy did I enjoy this challenge. I used my Cameo to cut out the mask and also the pattern paper was from the Silhouette store. A couple of weekends ago my hubby took me to a flea market in Missouri and I found this lady who was selling beads just like the ones I buy at Hobby Lobby but she sold them for $1 on the strand so I was like a kid in the candy store. The charms I ordered off ebay.

As you can see I love to weigh my charms down with A LOT of beads......have a bless weekend

Mojo Mondays

This week's challenge over at Mojo Mondays card. My friend Ronald birthday is tomorrow so I thought I could use this sketch for his birthday card. I used My Mind's Eye ~On the Bright side for my pattern paper and I used spellbinders for the cut out. Since it is a masculine card I only added three brads to the right bottom of the card. My sentiment is from Clear Stamps along with the inside but I had already signed it so I didn't take a picture of it.

Happy Birthday Ronald

My Black is Beautiful Challenge

CHALLENGE #3 Feb 1-15, 2012!
My Black is Beautiful!  My Black is my HAIR!  Nappy, straight, curly, dyed??? Locs, braids, permed, wig or weave.  Your hair is a part of YOUR Black!  What do you LOVE about YOUR hair.  Why?  Whatever it is, this challenge is about sharing your beautiful HAIR!  Create your layout.

My mini is continuous from the same paper colorbok  (no name on it) from Walmart. I used the banner happy from K&Company Engraved Garden collection. I cut out Nappy ~ Wild from the Cricut Cartridge Art Nouveau and ran it through the embossing folder Swiss dots to get it a Nappy texture if you will lol to match my nappy hair that I love. I used K&Company Tag Pad from Etiquette's Assorties. The paper followers were from a swap a year or so ago and I can't remember my partners name but they go just famulous with my layout thank you so much. The paper behind my picture is from DCWV Safari Untamed which is so fitting for my untamed hair lol. I used a piece of animal print ribbon from Joann's for my wildness lol  hence the layout title Nappy Wild.

Last of my Valentines

I have completed my projects for Valentines. I have packed up my Valentine items with the finish projects form my grand kids. We have 4 grand babies. Kendrian 4, Sunny 1, Lilly 2 and Khole 2 months. I made them all little bags and added some goodies in it for them. I also added a little poster that their mothers can add this current Valentines picture to it.

I used the colorbox $1.99 pack that I got at Tuesday Morning the other day to cover the bag and make the layouts. I had made some cuts last week and these are left over's. I used bubblegum glimmer mist for the flower and a bling from Hobby Lobby.  I cut the frames from Elegant Edges cricut cartridge in the craft room.

Outlawz Challenge -Tuesday Color Challenge

Last card for the night.....this one was a color challenge of purple, green and blue (well they had different names for the purple, green and blue but I tried to get as close to the colors as possible)
Again I had made some cuts on the Imagine last weekend on the Better Together cartridge and the sentiment was from K. Andrews Designs ~/Fashionable Friends~ stamps. I had also used the hobby lobby ribbon and I think this card came out really cute.

Outlawz challenge - Wednesday Sketch

This week over at Outlawz Wednesday Sketch was a nice sketch to keep. I liked it so much that I did two cards for the challenge. Once again I used Echo Park Yours Truly for the pattern paper on both cards. This first card I used recollections bling and hobby lobby pink ribbon. I used my E2 for the cuts out of the cartridge Spring Fever.

My next card I also used the same cuts from Spring Fever but with a different sentiment on it.

I had some left over cuts from last week's challenge with the flourishes and I thought it went well on this card with the flowers that my dear sis Teresa (My ScrapWorld) sent me and I thank her they look so beautiful on the card.

What has Felisa been up to?
