Only You

Hello, I am coming to you with another quick layout my goal is to use up as much of these kits I got and spend so much less. Well I used two CTMH kits tonight one was Enjoying the Ride and Pemberley which is almost gone. I pulled out one of the ctmh PL life cards from surfs up and I just need to add the journaling and this bad boy is done. I used my Explore to cut the car from graphically speaking and I don't know where the road came from (another reason I love design space, I don't have to know which cart just type it in and it comes up lol) The title ONLY YOU is from Premberley as well. The challenge I went along with was from YT over at kimpossible channel to use your stamps Monday #8 with a cricut cut so I got this one done

I scraplifted the idea from Lauren  she made a card with her image but this will work for me.

I joined in the challenge as well over at Heart 2 Heart Challenges 

I used the stamp Better with a friend Hostess rewards set and Hey Hottie was from Stamps of Life hot4ballons

well peeps it is past my bedtime, another work day tomorrow and they are calling for more rain so that means it is going to be a long day.

Happy Birthday Penny

Today is my sister in law Penny's birthday and I had to make another quick card Saturday to put in the mail to get to her in time. I used Anna Griffin pop up cards for this cutie 

 I used an old CTMH stamp for the Happy Birthday sentiment.

Tulsa Shock

Good morning, I am coming with a real quick post today my friend is a season pass holder to the Shocks and now that they will be moving to TX she wanted something special for the ladies. She asked me to make some cards for her so I went to the internet got the image and went from there. I used my Explore machine for the goal ran the red threw the embossing machine with dots.

This is the sentiment she wrote for the insides of the cards so sweet

I made a box to give the cards to her as well

Sunday making

Yesterday when hubby got off work we made a road trip to KS and last night we stopped to see an old friend who has been moved to Hospice and we were told that she only has 6 months to live so I pulled out the Anna Griffin box and put this simple card together. It was really nice to see Mrs Helen again and I pray it isn't our last time even though she is 96 yrs old.

 

Here the PL life spread I put together in my iPhone with the application. I really love just throwing the pictures in an doing my journaling while hubby is driving and I can call this quick trip done. 

Oh and the last leg home Yep hubby got a ticket after I kept saying slow down the whole trip but maybe now he will listen lol

Challenge YOUself do over

Good morning, you know how it is funny we tell our kids to read the directions well this mom didn't do that so I am doing a do over today with this sketch from Challenge YOUself I really need to slow down and watch it. Anyway I used the sketch to make this layout using another ctmh oldie Pemberley X71488 and I think it is retired but I am happy I only have a few sheets left and that pack is gone. I used my Explore to cut my title and this is my journey to running 5 miles a day

Hello late posting here. I pulled out some pictures of my son from his 

16th Birthday last yr we took him out to eat at his favorite restaurant Chill's (I know sad that I am just now scapping the pictures) any way I used the sketch from Challenge YOUself to complete this  

I pulled out an old set from ctmh Later Sk8r that is no longer available and you know the sad thing I bought two and this is my first time using it (again sad)

Football training camp

Hey crafters Saturday my son had a football training day at Oklahoma Baptist University and let me tell you it was so darn hot out there. I had the two grandsons with me and we were so wore out by quitting time it wasn't even funny sad thing is today is Tuesday and my body is still drained. Any who I put together this PL pages tonight so the lighting is not good but it is a layout ready for put up.
I used PL football cards and a making memory one as well that I picked up at wal mart. I follow a blog where the lady was talking about an app that will make the Polaroid pictures and I downloaded that and played with that as well. It is called Instants app I even managed to print out a few and put it in my fauxbonichi tonight

 

 I really love that this is simple and it is done now if I can just get organized to sit and do all those boxes of pictures lol

Sweet Sunday sketch 278

Good evening I had to try another card after my disaster one yesterday and now tonight I didn't take a straight picture it looks crooked anyway I used the Paper Studio The Garment District stack for this card with the sketch from Sweet Sunday 278

It is simple but it makes me smile with the bright yellow any woo long work day and I am beat so let me sign off and pray to play another day

Epic fail

Hello crafters, have you had one of those crafty days where you really wanted to craft but all you get is some mess well that is what is going on over here this Sunday. I started out trying a shaker card with a snow cone die from stamps of life. I added to much glitter in the packet and I cut the packet to small urgggg okay then I went to my explore machine to cut out the word sweet and I need a new blade so this card goes to the trash

I moved to next project of getting my planner ready for the week and I like how this one came out.

I used the template from Strange & Charmed for the bow and I will scan it into my scan and cut just cut out more with different scraps (I hate cutting by hand) I added a real cute bling button to my clip

 

 I was feeling like brown today so I pulled out some brown washi and just build on it. I just love the fact that I can use some of the stuff that I purchased so long ago. My husband says I don't understand why you waste supplies on your planner lol either I waste it or it keeps collecting dust....

.

 I even managed to pull out those stickers I got some yrs back now if I can find my brown pen to add in my appointment addresses

 

Okay I feel a little better about scrapping tonight. I might try another simple card before I go to bed just to redeem myself from that epic fail card

Mojo Monday

Hello crafters, real quick post here. I used the sketch from Mojo Monday 406 I pulled out an out 6x6 pack from My Mind's Eye Indie Chic "Nutmeg" and I used my lamina tor to give the Happy Belated Birthday a little shine. I saw a video from Dee's Special things, she used deli paper to run thew it and it worked just fine.

 

 I typed out a message for the inside of the card.

 I had an odd size card of 6x5 so I made an envelope for it

On a roll

Hello Tuesday, I am sharing some more project pocket pages that I did from Sunday. I had my youngest grandson with me Sunday at church and when we got home I had Papa wash my car so Kai and I took pictures. I used that new camera from HSN - I just had to have for football coming up with my son's senior yr. The pictures really come out nice but you can't tell with the lighting outside that I snapped the pocket pages. I used the WeRMemory keepers Playtime for this first page cards 

 

then I threw in some of the emblessments from basic grey Hey You. Do you remember last yr when Joann's had Hey You and Hey boy on clearance my good friend Sharon sent me some of the goodies I couldn't get here local and I am glad I opened up all those goodies. Now I just got to get busy and scrap all those boxes of pictures laying around.

okay last posting I have this table in my son's old room for my December Daily lol well it is the middle of July and that sucker has not been touched in awhile so my goal next week is to finish that book and but my Christmas stuff up and use that table for something else. I am posting this because I am really ashamed of this and many other scrap areas but if I put it out there maybe it will be my fuel to just get it done. I wish I could do it this week but we have Vacation Bible School starting tonight and I am taking the grand son's with me. Okay now it is past time for me to get to work have a bless day and week since I am sure I will not be posting until Sunday when I get the free time.

Good evening crafters, I finally worked on a few pages from our quick getaway. I just will have to go back and do the quick journaling. I do love doing my pictures this way so easy than the traditional 12x12, For the cards I used a set from me and my big ideas that I got on clearance awhile back.

I love making a shaker box now just need to get me some thick glitter. 

sorry about the light but I just took them tonight and the lamp was on but I know if I don't take it now it will not get done and these pages are straight to the album.

Our little quick get a way

Last week my youngest grandson completed his first week of school. It is an early educational center that he is attending and I am so happy. Research has shown great results from this school and I couldn't be more pleased.

Okay hubby surprised me with a quick two day get away to two state parks in Arkansas. I am so proud of myself for coming home and completing at least a few pages of our trip but I will be doing the rest in my project life style

This first one I cut the map in half and used two 12 x 12 photo sleeves to remember the hike by glad I dd to remember the hard 2 miles down to the beautiful fall 

hubby scared me to death his foot slipped and he fell on his backside as of today he has a few bruises but nothing is broke thank GOD.

I am so glad he found this beautiful spot for us to go to. The 2 mile hike was ruff but so worth it














simple layouts but the job is done.

I was hoping to get the other park done tonight but it didn't happen and tomorrow I have some late appointments scheduled so maybe Saturday I will get back with it.

Happy Anniversary LaChanda & Jessie

Today is my cousin Anniversary and she loves sweet's so I added this cute little cupcake and a little gift card to top it off. I used my die from your next die I love the idea of hiding a gift card and having the person just pull it and great for mailing. I added my ctmh stamps to finish it off

last I have completed 3 weeks of getting up and doing my jog. I have been doing well at exercising but running was NEVER my thing. I am a leg person and I can see that my jogging is really firming these legs up.

Happy Anniversary Crystal & JR

Another quick post on 7/1/15 was my husbands son's anniversary. I believe it is the 5th yr which is a big milestone. Hubby and I have the girls this weekend so they can run off and enjoy the weekend. So I included a gift card to a restaurant for them to enjoy. I added some die cuts that was in my stash and I think it was from Martha Stewart added some spray which you can't see and a little bling.
