1. Use the sketch from this site: http://wittyliving.com/crafts/cardmaking/handmade-card-ideas-15.html

2. Your background paper MUST have some shade of ORANGE. It can be a patterned paper or plain, that is up to you but it must be orange!

3. Use at least 2 CRICUT Images in your design.

4. Card size is up to you.

So what I used was Mini Monsters page 50 and the stamp BOOO is a dollar stamp from Joann's. The ribbon buckle is from Hobby Lobby (Spare Parts). The felt tag and scallop were from the past CK

Technique Tuesday/ Made by Momo Challenge

Come join the fun at Scrapnfit.blogspot.com
Tuesday, October 19, 2010Technique Tuesday 42 - Photo Mosaic

Welcome to week #42. Each Tuesday I will share a technique, a tool or supply with you to encourage you to get busy, use your stash, try something new and just be creative.

This week we explore Photo Mosaic!

Here is my take on the challenge: Snorkeling. This week I was inspired by Scrapbook etc. and a fellow scrapper. I used recent vacation photos to make my layout. I liked the look of mosaic tiling but only had a couple of photos on hand. I cut two 4 x 6 photos into 2 x 2 squares, after cutting them apart I picked the ten squares I wanted to used on my page and tiled them by leaving a small even space between each 2 x 2 square. This gave me the mosaic tile look I was going for. This is a quick and easy way to give your page that great multiple photo look. Hope you'll give this a try and just have fun creating!

This week we explore Masking!

I used Tim Holtz's time mask to ink with sugar spun distress ink and pink taffy glimmer mist

Sunny layout

I finally got my mojo back so I text my step daughter and asked her what colors the grandbaby was going to wear for Halloween so I made the layouts Sunday night so maybe I will be a little ahead on my pages. She is going to be a pumkin in black and orange so here are two pages so far that I made. I was watching Teniqua on youtube were she went to Target and purchased some paper for Halloween so I ran out and purchased it. Thanks Teniqua check out her website http://tenitinycrafts.blogspot.com/
