What has Felisa been up to?

 I just noticed my last post was in 2022 what a shame. I have been through so many changes that blog life has fallen off the wagon. Hubby and I have moved to another state and this weekend I am spending time with the two youngest granddaughters before they go back to school. I am currently attending a weekly sewing circle and enjoying every moment. My latest adventure is learning to quilt which I said I was going to learn when hubby retired but it has come sooner than later that is quilting not retirement.

 I know it has been such a long time since I have posted and I will not promise myself I will do better because I said that before and look 5 months later her I go posting :( 

Oh well I need to get a baby card made so I can get my handmade gifts off in the mail to my nephew in love first baby. I used the sketch from Sketch~N~Scrap to complete the card. I will be glad when I get my room in order so I can play with paper crafts again.

 

 

I can't remember the last time I bought paper craft paper I am sure you can't find paper pads for $2.99 anymore lol

53 and Blessed

 Today the Lord has allowed me to see another year. So sorry that I am not keeping up with my blog but I have been busy moving to another state. I have had to down size my hobbies so it is really going to be very little crafting going on for the year we will be living here in South Carolina. I made this shirt for my birthday. I follow Jeanette on YT and she was going through the steps of making her birthday shirt and I was like I love that so I followed and made me one myself.

I used some of that fabric from JoAnns from the Black History line. if you look closely you can see the black females head. How can I not be blessed wow God is so good to allow me another year.

 Good morning, I purchased this fabric at Michaels last month and got as much of it as I could for Black History month and I am so happy that I did now I need to make some other things with it. I made one of my grand daughter and her brother the new baby shirts

 Good morning, let me introduce you to our newest family member Jovani. This little one was such a joy when I got to go and see him. I live about 2 hours away so I won't be able to go and love on him and the other grand kids daily.

Hello Card #2, sad I really don't have the desire to do paper crafts so making these simple cards are a true struggle. I am praying that my desire will come back but I have prayed on this card as it goes to a lady that is battling her own issues that goes deeper than me and this paper so I am thankful and pray this brings a little comfort to her.

When I tell you this was a labor of love, I was so happy at the outcome of this sit. I did a follow along with Karlie and used the file from Parker on the Porch along with my Ankara fabric. I just have to work on the strap my sewing straight is not there.

Hello, I managed to get all my grand kids and great nieces and nephews a shirt done and mailed out in time for Christmas. I will try to do better on the next holiday and get things up and out.

I had trouble with Jace but I didn't get a picture of the after when I cleaned it up

It was a lot of fun and a blessing to have all of these babies in our family
