Happy Birthday

Today is my long time girlfriend Cheval's Birthday. Cheval and I grew up living across the street from each other so we go back to our elementary days. Today is her birthday and I just love her and her family to death.

I used Mojo Monday 280 sketch to complete her birthday card. I also used Suburbia cartridge for the beautiful image.

The Happy Birthday is from SP & Company Happy Banners. The inside stamps is from CTMH Card Chatter - Birthday D1475

SOC Friday Nite Chat

Tonight over at SOC (Scraps of Color) we had 3 challenges along with an image to color and post by mid-nite. First Challenge
Challenge #1 is to use a circle card as your base. It must have the word LOVE on the outside. You must also have some bling and distress. 

 

Challenge #2

Make a card using at least one solid, one print, must have a circle and a border punch. Must have a sentiment also. 

Challenge #3  You must make a V Day card with a sentiment on the outside that says "To my SOC friend". You must use some distressing and lots of bling.

 

some how I missed that it said use lots of bling :(

Oh I forgot I completed another  challenge on SOC. The cricut lovers group. This time I am using the cartridge New Arrival for my page and this page was a sketch challenge over at Creating the Crafty Life ning.

 

It is funny when I asked my grand son who the baby was he didn't know it was him. He said I am Black lol but he is still a high yellow little boy now.

 

I tore the head of the baby when I used my tape runner to the back but it is okay since it is going in my album.

I love Simple Stories and I have plenty of the 6x6 packs and thanks to my friend Shanta for supplying me with even more. I wanted to do my PL in the wonderful brown colors so I plan on doing my mini whenever the mood hits. I will not add any pressure on myself to do it daily or weekly. Since I am on the no spending this month along with some of the ladies over at SOC. I don't have the Simple Stories binder but I bought these pages last year when I went to a Cricut Circle Meet in KS and I am just now using them. See I am a sad case but I really am trying to work what is in my stash and try to finish projects that aren't complete. I really love the easy of how the pages come out in PL. Any way here are two pages I completed tonight.

I am loving this  I pulled out stickers, bling my cricut for paper dolls teen, my Cameo to weld the month and yr on the frames and wood verniers.

Full of Hearts

Today I did a challenge for Naturegirl0415 on YT. She wanted either a card, LO or Project life ~ project. I choose to do a card. The requirements were to 1. LO, Card, PL 2. Use a Sketch 3. Use a flair or wood vernier 4. layering 5. new product you got or an old one that you have started back using.

 

I used Recollections Amour paper, wood vernier heart, Studio G stamp and classic heart dies, heart cuddle-bug folder and some Joleen's shorts that was in my stash.  

Oh and the sketch I used was from Creating the crafty life

Cricut Cruise project of 2012

Okay today I got back in the mood to do some more pages. I have my pages just plain with mainly a journaling spot so I can go back and add the notes so when we look at this down the line we can remember what a wonderful time we had. Again this is just helping me to use my stash

This is what I have left to put in the Cricut Cruise Album, hopefully I will have it done next week with the journaling and up on the shelf.

I still have all the cricut photos in this stack so those will be in the next posting of this album.

Some Completed pages

I am in a group over at Scraps of Color that has us to use or cricut and explore our cartridges. My grandson will be turning 6 in April and I still haven't done his baby album so this challenge was great for me to pull out those baby cartridges and get busy with his album. I choose Stork's Delivery to start out with. I am making a 8 1/2 x 11 and an old DCWV stack for boys to start out with. I completed two pages so far.

 

The hands and feet brad's are also from my stash it is so sad I had all of these things just sitting around and NOW it is time to use it all.

Happy Birthday Esperanza

I am off to a bad start this month. Esperanza birthday is tomorrow and I should have had the card done last weekend so it would be mailed out to her on time. Sorry Esperanza

I am using the sketch from Mojo Monday to complete my card and I used the Dear Lizzy paper and my cricut with Paper Doll Teen. This was my first time using the cart even though I got it back in the summer. I also added want to scrap bling on it along with CTMH stamp to Celebrate her birthday
