SOC Sistah/Brother Challenge week 7

I am still playing catch up with Sistah/Brother challenge

Week 7: The Color of Love: To get ready for Valentines day, lets have a color challenge! Create any project of your choice with a red, black and white (in any combination) color scheme!

and this is what I came up with, I am so proud of myself tonight. I pulled out the Cameo and cut out all the embellishments.
Now the picture is very old of hubby and myself. We took it maybe 5 yrs ago but it says so much for my love, my valentine :)

Another thing I used my stash, I think the paper is from Target and I pulled out my Xyron to get the my valentine arrow to stick down but I don't have the patience to pick out the glue boogers but the Cameo is a dream.

Be Bless until the next posting, oh I am also working on a paper bag mini from the FB group Play Along and here is a sneak peak

SOC Sistah/Brother Challenge

Well today I am on time for a challenge on SOC

Week 11: We're back on track with BLOGGER'S CHOICE--GOING GREEN!! As we move into March, our thoughts turn to St. Patrick's Day and the beginning of Spring! So
create cards, LO's, or altered projects with a little (or a lot) of green!

I knew I wanted to make my grand son a tee shirt for St Patrick's Day and first wanted a teddy bear on it then I got to thinking about my grand son and he loves to say "lucky dog" so this morning I went to my cut search and looked for a dog and I found one on Nate's ABC which I think I have only cut once from this cartridge. I started out with CCR and I hide some of the images from the design. Then I scanned them and then put them in my silhouette so I could make it my way.
I got a clover image from the silhouette studio and did a subtract on his body. I used different fonts for the wording

I went to Wal Mart and bought a cheap shirt

You can see the leash I had hid

Scraps of Color Sistah/Brotha Blogger

I am playing catch up today. I don't know how and when but time got away from me and I am 4 assignments behind so lets get to it

Week 10: It's All in the Texture!
This week is all about texture! For cards, LOs, and altered projects, that may mean projects using embossing (heat, paste, or embossing templates), flocking -OR- lots of layering with stamping and embellies like bling, metals, ribbon or feathers to create a collaged look! It's your interpretation and totally up to you!

I used the sketch from Creative Scrappers sketch 249

okay on to the next one
Week 9: Anything Goes! Add a link to your favorite card, layout, or altered art project this week!

This card I used a sketch from Palspaperarts to complete this card. On the front I used a stamp from K Andrews and the inside was from Inspired stamps, the paper is from Prima and I don't remember the name of the 6x6 pack...

I will finish the other two tomorrow

Happy Birthday Tiffany

Today is my girl friend's birthday and I got this card completed on time and in the mail....just posting this today. I used one of the lasted cartridges that I received Heritage and made  this cute lady silhouette. I can't remember which paper pad I used but I thought the colors were really nice.

Happy Birthday Tiff, love you

Quick bag

Today I am on my way to my cousins house out of town for her 40th Birthday Party and I made her card last week and mailed it off but I thought I would add a little gift and I had some canvas bags upstairs and some vinyl and this is what I came up with for a real quick gift

It is sad that if you don't use something you loose it. I wasted some vinyl today because I forgot shiny side down :( and then my expensive heat press would not adhere the vinyl down I had to go and pull out my cheap iron and get the job done.

Oh well time to take this two hour drive

Enjoy your Saturday

Envelope

I just seen on my Martha Stewart score board the A9. I had emailed a couple of friends last night and asked about making an A9 envelope and this could have been completed last night. These old tired eyes are what they use to be.....any way have a good bless day

The front image is from Artiste cartridge, I will use my gel pen and write her name on it. I am now off to drop this in her mail box since that will probably be cheaper than mailing and I don't have the time today since her Birthday is today.

Birthday wishes

Today is another one of my friends birthday and today I didn't use my favorite cart I used an embossing folder. I bit the bullet last week and ordered the eBosser and this was my first project to make with it and I like it. What sold me was that I could do a 8 x 11 1/2 piece of paper. The only thing I am not liking is that I need to figure out how to make an A9 envelope for the card which I will do here in a few mins but I need to get this posted before I forget. So today is my friend Shauntay's Birthday and since she lives local I am not late on her card I can just drive by and drop it off. I have a few more birthday's this month so I need to get cracking.

I used Michael's $1 pearls and recollection for the swirl. The stamp is from my stash Inkadinkado Birthday Wish 99716 and the inside is from Paper Trey Studio

Valentines Day

Happy Valentines, I completed a card for my Aunt Dora...the best Auntie in the world. I didn't save the tutorial of this card but I got the link from split coasters website and I hate I didn't save that because I like to give credit to the person very good tut.

I forgot to post the towel that I did for my grand son's teacher Mrs. Walters, I got this new machine and I haven't found the time to play with it so this towel has mistakes on it. We just need more time in the day

Enjoy your Day and be Bless

Kendrian's Valentine goodies

Warning heavy photo's......I completed all my grandson goodies for his Kinder gardener class. I started with an image on Simply Charmed for the bug, I used Lacy Labels for the frame.

Here is a shirt I made to match his goodies tags

Then we had to make a box to hold his cards in. I stuck with the same image for all the projects.
Thanks Shaunta for the die cut plates, they came in handy to cut his name out of foam.

Next I wanted to make him a shirt and this is what we came up with using vinyl

I also made his teacher Mrs. Walters a card. I used the sketch from Feeling Sketchy

I used SP & Company stamp on the front of the card and a Studio G for the inside. The paper was from Glitz 6x6
Then we finished off with his treat boxes. I just didn't have anything left after cutting these boxes out so they are not dressed up at all but it is the thought that counts right.
and last is the three mailboxes for my grand daughters ages 1,2 and 3 so another plain Jane but the thought. I will have them some little girl goodies in them and that completes my Valentine

Birthday Boy

This morning my 5 yr grandson told me it was his class mates birthday and he wanted to make a card for him and now I am just remembering I forgot to snap a picture of his art work dang. Well I made this quick card for him using Beep Beep cartridge for the fire truck and I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches to complete the card

I used Crate Paper ~ Toy Box Collection for the base.

I also completed another page in my project life. Mine is not the traditional one I have an 8x8 album with all different sheets in the album but I loved this sketch from Creative Scrappers and added into my album.
