A little progress

Image
I was so busy with family that I wasn't able to craft and a killer headache kept me down. I have wanted to finish up some things that I have started awhile back so tonight I decided to finish a rag quilt that I started a year ago from watching Vianney youtube video

This is a picture of it laid out. I had the squares sewn up but I didn't connect them so this is what I am going to show you for tonight and come back tomorrow with a completed blanket after I wash it.

Simple project

Image
This morning I was lying in bed thinking what I was going to do today besides the cleaning. I had purchased a design a couple of nights ago from Embroidery Designs for my grand son Kendrian. He is a BIG fan of the Oklahoma City Thunders and of course Kevin Durant. My grandson changed his name last yr to KD which I didn't know at the time of Kevin Durant because my grand son is Kendrian DeAndre so I just assumed (LOL) he meant his name.

So this design is perfect for my little KD.

The design has glasses so I omitted the glasses since KD doesn't wear glasses and added Kevin's number on it by request of little KD and it had to be in blue.
He is Nana's biggest fan but he sure likes to request a lot of me when it comes to his designs

I don't think I will post anymore today got to finish cleaning

Not much happen today

Image
I have been on and off the highway yesterday and today so not much of any crafting for me. I participate or try to over at Scraps of Color but I must say this was the worst Friday for me I only completed one project and I will try to post it tomorrow because my idea is to complete the other challenges as well.

Tonight I decided to work on a couple of hubby's shirts that he brought home from work last week. You guys know that hubby is a superman freak so his work tee shirts he wanted vinyl superman on it and I went ahead and completed it tonight.

This is the front of his shirt when he brought it home

I added the Superman from the Silhouette software and cut it out of vinyl and used my heat press machine to iron it on

This one we added to the front of the shirt.

I know right a easy project. So while we were driving up and down the highway I was playing with my embroidery software and when we got home I pulled out an old shirt that I usually were like a jacket and stitched an image o…

Today I finished a few towels that should have been done awhile back but Mojo was gone but she came back and I am happy with the towel.

On this one I wish my blue would show up better in her dress but I love the image

This last one I used instaCollage application on my iphone to get all three towels in this frame.

I also made a card to go along with Cas(E) Sketch challenge

I used my stamp from SP & Company kit club Handmade Holiday stamp set. The paper is from Basic Grey ~Porcelain Paper Pad~

This stamps is from a garage sale find with no name but it was from a bag of foam stamps.

Layout time

Image
Today I decided I needed to go back to my first love layouts. Layouts is what started me in scrapbooking. Now days I have put it on the back burner but I have so many pictures that need a home on all the paper that I have accumulated.

Here is what I came up with today.

My grandson was a Ninja for Halloween. I used my Cameo to cut the title and I pulled out some washi tape and some little stickers I got on clearance

and it has been so long that I even pulled out my smash book to add a picture in it.

My second page I worked on I even pulled out an cricut that I have never used before was the Dr. Checkup. I had to take my grandson to the doctor yesterday because he has had a cold for 4 weeks that I couldn't get rid of so I took him in to find out it was a sinus infection. I snapped two bad pictures of him in the office

I thought it came out okay and I even used paper from one of the studio calico kits that I had which is sad because they charge so much for them to just sit in my r…
