Elizabeth Mae

This week's challenge over at Elizabeth Mae is swirls & flourishes. I choose the image surprised fairy too for my image. I was in a die  cut swap and used the flourish and embossed it with blue ice sherbet powder and I used scrap paper from scenic route. The stamp was from the greeting farm stamp and I can't remember the name of the set sorry. I used Recollections bling to finish it off.

Surgery

This morning I had surgery on my right wrist to remove a ganglion cyst and carpal tunnel. GOD is good I am well, I even drove myself home since hubby had to leave this morning for Israel for work. So I am afraid no crafting for a few weeks hopefully as I am right handed and I am typing left handed here.

I have great veins but a bad nurse.

This is my submission for this month charm swap over at Stampin' Dymonz Scrap Shack
I used my cricut to cut the puzzle out of DonJuan at 4". Most of the beads were in my stash and I bought the puzzle charm at Hobby Lobby's and I usually get my beads at HL and walmart. The paper was also from HL in the stack of Boho Chic.

The project that I made for this hop was an accordion album from Martha Stewart. This is a simple and quick project anyone can do and it is great for a non scrapper. I used My Mind's Eye ~Lucky Me~ Abbey Road to mat the pages for my daughter who is a non scrapper to just add pictures into the album.

I will be giving away a $10 gift certificate to the lucky winner of my drawing. Sympathy Card

My cousin's husband mother past away last Sunday and I just made the card for him today and will mail it off tomorrow.
I used my cricut cart Inspired Hearts to cut out the Bible image @ 4"and I used Close to my heart stamp . The paper is from the paper studio~ Faith~ from Hobby Lobby.
I used the rub on from HL Stickabilities.
I also used this rub on from the same stickabilities pack. I used this sentiment because my cousin is going to take his mother back home to Liberia Africa, to be burried next to her husband. The sad thing about this is that my cousin brought her to America only 2 months ago. He hasn't seen his mother in 10 yrs and the sad thing is she was only here for 2 months before she went home with the LORD. So the journey that faces them ahead is going to be a long journey since the resting place is only accesible by boat. But on the good note Jessie will get to see family that he left behind. My prayer is that they have a safe travel and not be so sad that his mother is gone home.
Rest in peace NA 8/7/11

My son Jalen is in the 8th grade and this is the first year that all of the teams are joined as one so we have about 90 players and it will be made into 2 teams Owasso Red/White. Yesterday they had there first scrimmage against each other only after 3 nights of practice (in the boiling HOT heat)

Elizabeth Mae's Design Team

This week over at Elizabeth Mae the challenge this week is to use only 2 colors (shades can vary). I used the image Angel girl for my card and the colors I choose was green and white (the yellow hair doesn't count because the precious Angel couldn't have green hair). So come on over and join us in the challenge.
PS this is my first one of my coloring the Caucasian images but she looks just like my grand-daughter who will be turning 1 yr old on the 20th so I need as much practice for her birthday card.....
